Prunus Avium Plena (Bird Cherry) 45 litre 10-12cm Girth

Prunus Avium 'Plena' has glorious double white flowers and is a cultivar of our native Wild Cherry tree. The blousy flowers hang elegantly in clusters all over the branches in April-May and are complimented by a canvas of dark-green leaves. In autumn, the foliage turns vibrant crimson before falling and small reddish-purple fruits adorn the tree.

One of our larger Flowering Cherry Trees, Prunus Avium 'Plena' will grow to an estimated height and spread  8 x 8 metres in 20 year. It is suited to most well-draining soils and can grow well in urban sites as it is pollution tolerant.
