With much whiter bark than the Silver Birch that is native to the UK, Himalayan Birch 'Doorenbos' has the added advantage of the bark colour developing in a relatively young tree.

This white stemmed Himalayan Birch is an elegant tree with an open head, casting only a light dappled shade. Glossy, dark-green, oval foliage turns a cheery yellow in the autumn. In its single stem form, expect a height of 7 metres and spread of 4 metres in 20 years. We also offer multi stem Jacquemontii.
